Biographical
General (political statement of goals, objectives, views, philosophies)

YOU DO HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE Nov. 6th. As an Officer in the Marine Corps I was trained to be a leader, to be prepared and remain faithful. I am and have always been a believer in our Constituion, Bill of Rights and the Rule of Law. Coming from a military family I have enjoyed the experience of growing up and working in different parts of the world because it has given me a greater repect for not only the exceptionalism that is America but for the many freedoms we enjoy in this country. Our freedoms are in danger of being lost forever, because I believe, as so many of my fellow Floridians, that both national parties, the Democrats and the Republicans, have failed us. They have failed us because we have allowed them free reign to become unaccountable

Personal (gender, age, marital status, spouse's name and age, children's name and ages, home town, current residence)

I was born in Nebraska. The youngest child of Air Force Col. (Ret.) Don and Peggy Gaylor. My wife Sheila is ten years younger than me and we have been married for over 23 years.

Have four wonderful children: Hunter (22), Madison (18), Foster (14) and Oliver (now with the Lord-would be 20). We live in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida. Hunter is in his final year at Harvard. A natural entrepreneur and when not in class he is working several endeavors to offset the cost of his education avoiding the need to take out a student loan. Madison graduated from Satellite High School with honors this year while simultaneously earning her AA degree form Brevard Community College. She is also attending Harvard with a focus in the Dramatic Arts. She and Foster (along with Mom), recently earned their Adult and Jr. Black Belts in Karate. Foster excells in all of his studies, loves music and is in his first year at Satellite HS. His interest is Constitutional Law.

Profession (professional and work experience outside politics)

Curretnly have a successful Independent Insurance Agency after 23 years. My wife Sheila took over the reins as President in 2010.

Civic (past and present organizations, charities involvement)

Involved with the First Baptist Church of Indialantic. Sit on the Finance Committee and Sheila on the Insurance Committee. Sheila sings in the Choir, leads drama and the kids work with the sudio-visual team.

Political (dates and titles of previously held political offices)

Never held a political office. I cannot sit on the sidelines now after seeing what our current entrenched politicians have done to this country. All common sense has gone out the window and our Contitutional rights are slowly being taken away all the while they enrich themselves and strip this country of its wealth. Now is the time to change the players. You cannot keep voting in the same politicians and expect different results...that is insanity. We do not need Democrats, Republicans, conservatives, progressives, liberals or what ever label you want to put on it.....we need problem solvers.

Religion (current and past religious affiliations, beliefs)

Baptist. Pro-life.

Accomplishments (significant accomplishments, awards, achievements)

My Education, Military service, 23 years as a successful businessman and a family that I can be very proud of. It is not about me but the country.

I graduated from Winter Garden High School in 1966. After attending Oxford College of Emory University for two years I transferred to the University of South Florida earning my Bachelor of Arts degree. Upon graduation I enlisted into the Marine Corps and completed basic training at Paris Island, graduating meritoriously, PFC. Next stop was Quantico, Virginia for Officer Training where I earned my commission as a 2nd Lt. 1971. Trained as a Field Artillery Officer then sent to Okinawa. Also trained as an Embarkation Officer and promoted to the rank of 1st Lt.. At the end of my tour returned state-side and upon receiving an Honorable Discharge joined the private sector. Like to play golf when I can which is not very often as work comes first.
