Taddeo: As your next Congresswoman and as a Jewish woman, I will be a leader on issues affecting the Middle East, and the U.S.-Israel relationship especially. Growing up in Colombia, I know too well the true impact that terrorists can have. My own family was targeted by the FARC narco-terrorist group. And that is why I understand so personally how terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah are so detrimental to the cause of peace.
Israel's security is non-negotiable. This means that we must never negotiate with terrorists bent on destruction. It means never allowing Iran to possess nuclear arms, weapons that once again threaten not only the Jewish people's very survival, but the lives of countless millions throughout the world.
